CALIPSO TOURS
The Kalypso hikes take place on the Ahja River in Southern Estonia. In exceptional cases, depending on weather conditions or other circumstances, the hike may also take place on another river (e.g. the Elva River, the Nõva River or another similar river).
The banks of the Ahja River are lined with beautiful sandstone outcrops and spruce and pine forests. During the hike, you will have to overcome several natural obstacles using various methods (including climbing and floating in the water). An instructor will accompany you throughout the hike and will guide you on how to safely traverse the trail and move without damaging the nature.
The route takes adventurers through both the Small and the Great Sky Dome – one of the most beautiful and well-known natural sites in the ancient valley of the Ahja River.
The total length of the hike is approximately 3–4 km, about half of which is in the water. The approximate time in the water is 1–1.5 hours.
Including preparation, changing clothes, and tea and snacks at the end of the hike, the total time required is approximately 2.5 hours.
At the end of the hike, a light snack and hot tea await all participants.

To confirm the reservation, a deposit must be paid (partial deposit of €250 for groups).
The minimum group size is 8 people.
Hiking equipment is assembled individually based on the participants' data.
There are warm tents on site for changing clothes. We also recommend bringing a towel and swimwear.
OPEN GROUP HIKS
Individuals and smaller groups can also join open group hikes. We organize open group hikes throughout the season according to interest. If this option would be suitable, please let us know and we will inform you about the next possible dates.
If a participant is unable to participate in the hike at the agreed time, please notify us at least 48 hours before the start of the hike. In this case, it is possible to reschedule the participation to another date or issue a gift certificate of the same value, valid for 1 year.
If cancellation is made less than 48 hours before the trip, the participation fee will not be refunded or reissued.

The amount paid upon confirmation of the reservation is non-refundable. When confirming your reservation, please note that preparations will be made in advance for the hike and equipment will be personally assembled for the participants.
If desired, the participant can find another participant to replace them, provided that they are notified no later than 3 days before the hike. In case of later changes, it may not be possible to reconfigure the equipment.

The hike is organized by Tartu Seikluspark OÜ in cooperation with Adventure Solutions OÜ.
